Welcome!
We are a national charity aiming to alleviate childhood anxiety surrounding medical environments.
Our sessions are run as ‘hospitals’ consisting of stations that focus on various aspects of healthcare such as dentistry, x-rays, and first aid. All stations have been designed to provide hands-on teaching that will give children a greater understanding of healthcare, reduce any associated fears, and inspire them to pursue higher education.
Our Mission
Teddy Bear Hospital is an undergraduate-led organization working alongside medical students interested in Pediatrics, current UCI/CHOC Pediatric residents, and the local community to promote medical communication and reduce clinical anxiety in kids.
